Breathing Through Darkness
There are seasons when the world feels heavy, when the news hums with chaos and the heart quietly absorbs more than it should. In those moments, the most radical thing we can do is return to the body. Breathe slowly. Step outside and let the wind rearrange your thoughts. Walk among trees that have survived centuries of storms.
Light a candle. Tend to your altar. Touch the small sacred things that remind you who you are. Dance in your kitchen, in bare feet if possible, shake the dust from your bones and remember that life still moves through you.
I’ve made a little spring playlist for these days. Something to breathe with, walk with, and dance yourself gently back to the light.
